About the Role
We are seeking passionate design educators and practitioners to join our dynamic academic community. At DJ Academy of Design, we believe in studio-driven, student-centric learning that bridges academia and professional practice. As a faculty member, you will shape future designers through immersive studio engagement, industry integration, and innovative curriculum development.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead engaging studio courses, lectures, and workshops in your area of expertise
• Drive project-based, experiential learning aligned with contemporary industry practices
• Mentor students on design projects, portfolios, internships, and career readiness
• Contribute to curriculum design, studio frameworks, and interdisciplinary learning
• Evaluate student work through juries, reviews, exhibitions, and assessments
• Actively support industry collaborations, live projects, workshops, and guest engagements
• Bridge academia and practice by embedding real-world design workflows into teaching
• Contribute to high impact research and IPR development
Qualifications & Experience
• Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Industrial Design / Interior Design / or Communication Design.
• From 5 years to15+ years of experience, including a mix of industry and academic experience.
• A strong academic and/or professional portfolio
• Excellent communication, mentoring, and leadership skills
• A genuine passion for student-centric, studio-driven design education
