Jasjit has been teaching industrial design at Lund University School of Industrial Design since 2010. A specialist in the area of design for user experience, product form and semantics, he works in the cross-over domain of industrial, interaction and transportation design. A mix of versatile design practitioner, educator and creative thinker, he graduated in industrial design from National Institute of Design in India. A wide range of experience from working with some of the leading brands in automobiles, healthcare, consumer, home and office industry on one hand to designing color systems, brands and identities, and working with architects on experiential spaces and narrative museums. He links these experiences into
design education by working and collaborating with various design teams around the world.
Jasjit has taught as an industrial design faculty and coordinator for product design at India’s National Institute of Design. In 2005 he joined as a lecturer in form studies at the world renowned Umea Institute of Design in Sweden and ever since focused his work in linking product form and styling practices with innovation, user experiences and semantic approaches in product design.
Jasjit has continuously tried to cultivate a multidisciplinary approach towards problem solving, understanding and exploring future scenarios, enriching the user experiences to create meaningful directions for new products to come in the future.
